On the second day of the EYM most of the players, including the Hungarians, finished with lower scores due to better weather conditions. The competition had to be suspended because of lightning for a short time, but finally also the last 3 flights could finish their second round.

The weather showed no mercy to the players of the European Young Masters on the first competition day. It was raining in the morning and there was strong north wind in the afternoon, which almost got the players out of rhythm. The course tolerated the precipitation well enough, there was only little casual water.

Hungary got the honour again, thus the Hungarian Golf Federation and the Royal Balaton Golf & Yacht Club can organize the European Young Masters, the European Championship of the juniors under 16.
